Texas Pecos Trail Board members, joined by Texas Forts Trail representatives met Thursday Sept 16 to tour Historic Downtown Sonora and the Caverns of Sonora. Gathered here at the Ice House Ranch Museum are Owen Miller(Texas Forts Trail past chair), Andrew Barnebey(Devils Sinkhole Society), Jim Collett (Midland County Historical Society), Melissa Hagins (ED Texas Pecos Trail), Jackie Olson (Sutton County Historical Society), Tammy Fisher (Sutton County Historical Society), Elaine & Kyle Donaldson (Sutton County Historical Society), Brenda Kizziar (Ward County Historical Commission), Jefferson Spilman (Fort Lancaster State Historic Site Manager). While in town, they also met with County Judge Rachel Chavez Duran, Mayor Juanita Gomez and Donna Garrett from the Chamber of Commerce.
